Muramasa Disk System Cartridge – Cable Version.

The Muramasa Disk System Cartridge – Cable Version allows the playback of Famicom Disk System games on the original NES Front Loader (NES-001) or the NES Top Loader (NES-101), Analogue NT Mini, or RetroUSB AVS (FDS2NES). The Muramasa Disk System Cartridge is a NES version of the Nintendo Famicom Disk Ram Adapter (HVC-023). The cartridge uses a cable attached to the top of the cartridge to connect to the Nintendo Famicom Disk System (HVC-022). The cartridge is made with an original RP2C33 taken from an original ram adapter cartridge.

Please note that the NES must have Expansion audio enabled to get the full Famicom Disk System sound.

Compatible Systems:

• Original NES Front Loader (NES-001)(requires expansion audio mod to enable all sound from the FDS).
• NES Top Loader (NES-101) (requires expansion audio mod to enable all sound from the FDS).
• Aftermarket systems such as the Analogue NT and RetroUSB AVS.

Important Notes:

• Modification Required: The NES Front Loader (NES-001) and The NES Top Loader (NES-101) Require a modification to enable expansion audio.
• Not Compatible with PAL Systems: Like the original Famicom Disk Ram Cartridge the Muramasa Disk System Cartridge only works for original NTSC based systems only.
• Many clone systems using clone cpus are not compatible with the FDS.
