NES UNROM 512 (Mapper 30)

The NES UNROM 512 (Mapper 30) is a homebrew or reproduction board that supports expanded NES Mapper 2 and Mapper 30 with self flashing support. This board is perfect for games made with NESMaker.

U3 – PRG – 39SF040 (HERE)

U4 – 74HC377 (HERE)

U5,U7 – 74HC32 (HERE)

U6 – 74HC139 (HERE) (U6 is needed for the flashable configuration which is required by NESMaker. If using Flashlock do not populate)

C1 – 22uf 16V Capacitor (HERE)

C2,C3,C5,C6,C7 – 0.1uf 50V Capacitor (HERE)

Mapper Compatibility

Verified compatible with Mapper 2 and Mapper 30. Please note that other mappers have not yet been tested.

Flasher Compatibility

Once assembled this board works with the ‘INLretro USB Programmer” which can be found here. Although the rom can be programmed to this board with the programmer the mirroring can not. Mirroring must be set by soldering jumpers on the board.
